Community cats still rely on human caregivers for
Feral or community cats are the same species as pet cats but grow up without human contact. While they rely on humans for food and shelter, they prefer to live outdoors and are unlikely to become indoor pets.
Animal Friends supports humane community cat population control through Trap-Neuter-Vaccinate-Return (TNVR). Cats are trapped, treated with spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, flea treatment, and an ear tip, then returned to their environment.
TNVR is the most effective way to reduce community cat populations, improve their health, and address nuisance behaviors like spraying and yowling, benefiting both the cats and the community.

TNVR Package
We’re proud to offer a special surgery package for feral cats through our Low-Cost Spay/Neuter program. For $75, the package includes a spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, flea/parasite treatment and an ear tip so that the cat can be identified once they’re returned to their colony.
We do not offer walk-in feral cat appointments, please make an appointment first before trapping a cat.
