Winter Care

Proper colony management includes providing a safe and warm shelter for cats during the colder winter months. Animal Friends offers DIY winter shelter kits for $5. The kit includes a Styrofoam cooler, plastic sheeting in which to wrap the cooler, and building instructions. All you need are scissors, duct tape, and a small keyhole saw.

We also provide FREE straw for the shelters. Just visit our campus to pick up a bag of straw.
