Animal Friends has been part of the Pittsburgh community for more than 80 years, and still growing and evolving every day. Their 75-acre campus in the North Hills is so much more than a shelter — it’s a place of compassion, education and second chances.
Every year, they help thousands of dogs, cats and rabbits find their happily-ever-afters. But adoption is just part of what they do. They also offer affordable vet care, free vaccine clinics across the region, behavior training, therapy animal programs, a Chow Wagon pet food bank, kids’ camps — and the list goes on!
