DESCRIPTION:For dogs 4 months or older that are both people- and dog-friendly. \n\nJoin other small dogs and their people for an hour of social time. Dog play increases social skills and provides lots of exercise and fun for the small dog crowd!   \nWe define “small” dog as approximately 35 pounds or less. Also\, consider your dog’s personality in choosing to attend dog social. Group play can be overwhelming or overstimulating for some dogs.  \nRequirements: No pre-registration. Bring vaccination records showing up-to-date DHPP and rabies. Bordetella is strongly recommended for your dog’s protection but not required.  \nTuition: $10 per dog (max $20 per family) per visit – humans are free!  \nSpecial Offer: Buy four socials and get the fifth one free!   \nAny questions\, please contact Donna at AFU@ThinkingOutsideTheCage.org.

DESCRIPTION:Join local author Dana Seguin and her best friend Charlie for a fun writing workshop on Saturday\, June 20th\, at Animal Friends! Learn how to craft and create your own story about your best furry friend – materials for making a book are included\, as well as light refreshments. This workshop is recommended for parents and children ages 6 – 12. \nParents/guardians must be present the entire time of the workshop. \nPlease bring inspiration photos of the animal(s) that you would like to write about! \nAbout the Author: Dana Seguin\, a creative powerhouse in the world of fashion marketing\, Dana is celebrated for her bold ideas\, fearless storytelling\, and her commitment to building purpose-driven brands that inspire confidence and inclusivity. Over the course of her 25-year career\, she has become known as a visionary leader in brand development\, advertising\, PR\, and social media\, with a keen ability to blend artistry and strategy in everything she touches. SUMMARY:NEW! Puppy Playschool
DESCRIPTION:For puppies 6 months and under and their families. All sizes and breeds are welcome to attend.  \nSupervised playtime for puppies to build dog and people social skills. Pups will be divided into larger\, more confident pups and small\, shyer pups for playtime under the supervision of experienced\, certified dog trainers. There will be several very short “training breaks” and a “potty break” for each group.   \nRequirements: No pre-registration required. Please bring vaccination records and some training treats to the social.
